Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) - Arusha Town

Today you arrive directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (time and flight to be confirmed) and will be transferred to your pre-safari lodge in Arusha.

Day 1 Arusha Town- Lake Manyara National Park - Mto Wa Mbu

Today, you’ll be picked up from your pre-safari lodge in Arusha and set off on an exciting journey to Lake Manyara National Park. Arrival at the park gate and start a wonderful game drive in optimal conditions. The Manyara circuit covers the groundwater forest (primates, birds, occasional leopard), the open floodplains (elephant herds, buffalo, warthog), and the lakeshore zone ( pelicans, hippos). Tree-climbing lions are sought in the southern woodland near sunset. After a day filled with wildlife and scenic views, continue on to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 Ngorongoro Crater - Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Rise at 5:30am for the drive to the Ngorongoro Crater rim, arriving at the entry gate as it opens at 6:00am. The early descent gives you the crater floor largely to yourselves in the golden morning light — one of the most valuable advantages of an early start. The three-hour morning game drive covers the crater's entire width: the hippo pool, the open grassland lion territory, the eastern wetlands, and the southwest where black rhino have been sighted consistently by Shammah Wonders' guides. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, the vehicle ascends the rim and drives to Kilimanjaro Airport for your outward flight.
